Sales Executive

ABOUT THE JOB

You will close the deals that will help push the company into the future. You will get to work hard with your teammates on projects you are excited about. You will get to work on cool stuff with cool people.


What We Are Looking For:

You love the thrill of closing new customers, and you’re good at it! You are excited to work with a small team now and equally excited to help grow the team as we expand in the coming months and years. You have a previous experience in selling to government agencies, and the traffic and transportation engineering space, or large companies and corporations or difficult sales structures and a passion for technology. You are a team player and are not afraid to step out of your comfort zone and tackle hard problems. You move quickly, have the mindset of a hunter and the convictions of a closer.


You will:

  • Work with the CEO and the Senior Sales Manager on scouting new customers and closing deals

  • Work with customers directly on new sales and upsells

  • Expand the company’s business development opportunities through customers and partners


Desired skills:

Experience with the following is necessary:

  • At least 3 years’ experience selling in the traffic and transportation engineering space or 3 years experience in a similar type of industry or sales category

  • Experience selling to departments of transportation, municipalities and/or the engineering firms who work with these public entities

  • Selling to government entities 


Other things we would love to see:

  • Familiarity with local or national municipalities

  • Familiarity with start-up sales

  • Government procurement

  • Outbound sales

  • Lead generation

  • Cold calling

  • Pounding the pavement and knocking on doors

Junior Software Engineer

ABOUT THE JOB

The position will be focused on expanding the capabilities of our existing product line, Pulse, as well as collaborating with the entire development team as we expand our offering into exciting new areas. You should be eager to work behind the scenes in creating software that helps the world work, and have a desire to optimize every interaction with that software and take the lead on driving development.


This position reports to the CTO.

  • Work with the CTO and the rest of the dev team to create interesting, useful and meaningful software

  • Write code of which you are proud

  • Provide integral feedback into the product (and company) road map

  • Expand current skills as well as learn new skills


Desired skills:

  • Scala/Spark proficiency

  • Experience with big data/ data warehousing

  • Experience creating interactive, performant, data driven applications

  • Ability to think critically about requirements and design to help drive the process

  • History of working well with a small, multi-talented dev team
