Sales Executive  

Us: Downtown Salt Lake City, VC-backed tech start-up looking for an experienced Sales Executive. Fast paced, high growth start-up that provides data on population movements to help guide city planning and large-scale capital development decisions.

You: You love the thrill of closing new customers, and you’re good at it! You are excited to work with a small team now and equally excited to help grow the team as we expand in the coming months and years. You have at previous experience in selling to government agencies, and the traffic and transportation engineering space, with a passion for technology. You are a team player and are not afraid to step out of your comfort zone and tackle hard problems.

Role: You will close the deals that will help push the company into the future. You will get to work hard with your teammates on projects you are excited about. You will get to work on cool stuff with cool people. 
 

Experience with the following is necessary:

  • At least 3 years’ experience selling in the traffic and transportation engineering space
  • Experience selling to departments of transportation, municipalities and/or the engineering firms who work with these public entities  
  • Selling to government entities
  • Background in commission-based sales
     

Other things we would love to see:

  • Familiarity with local or national municipalities
  • Familiarity with start-up sales
  • Government procurement
  • Outbound sales
  • Lead generation
  • Cold calling

Senior Front-End Developer  

Us: Downtown Salt Lake City, VC-backed tech start-up looking for an experienced Front-End Developer. Fast-paced, high growth start-up that provides data on population movements to help guide transportation and city planning, and large-scale capital development decisions.

You: You love working on the front-end, and you’re good at it! You are excited to work with a small team now and equally excited to help grow the team as we expand in the coming months and years. You are a seasoned developer with at least 3 years’ experience and a passion for development and technology. You are a team player and are not afraid to step out of your comfort zone, self-motivate and tackle hard problems.

Role: You will write the code and solve the problems that will help push the company into the future. You will get to work hard with your teammates and develop a beautiful, intuitive interface for Blyncsy’s customers. Your input and ideas will directly impact the company’s trajectory. You will get to work on cool stuff with cool people.
 

Experience with the following is necessary:

  • 3+ years front-end development, in a paid position
  • Rails & Ruby
  • JavaScript
  • Web data visualizations: Highcharts, D3, etc.
     

Other things we would love to see:

  • Educational background in computer science or similar field  
  • Familiarity with tech start-ups
  • Angular, React, etc.
  • Micro services
  • An eye for design, both UI and data visualizations

Part-Time Marketing Coordinator  

Us: Downtown Salt Lake City, VC-backed tech start-up looking for an experienced, part-time marketing coordinator. Fast-paced, high growth start-up that provides data on population movements to help guide transportation and city planning, and large-scale capital development decisions.

You: You love marketing--and you’re good at it! You are excited to work with a small team now and equally excited to help grow the team as we expand in the coming months and years. You are a seasoned professional with at least 3 years’ experience and a passion for driving business growth through marketing. You are a team player and are not afraid to step out of your comfort zone, self-motivate and tackle hard problems.

Role: For 20 hours a week, you will draft potential and current customer-facing emails, create content, manage social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), assist with press releases and tackle varied marketing needs.

 

Experience with the following is necessary:

  • 3+ years in a paid marketing coordinator/ marketing communications role
  • Experience with writing copy and creating content
     

Other things we would love to see:

  • Preference given to someone who can code emails in HTML
  • Familiarity with tech start-ups
  • Experience with  B2B and B2G marketing
